A biological assessment was completed as a component of the environmental review process for a proposed subdivision to address concerns related to the potential presence of critical habitat for endangered, threatened, or rare species on or within the vicinity of the proposed development. Work entailed coordination with state and federal agencies, literature review, and on-site field investigation to determine presence or absence of available and/or required habitat for known species in the area. The site was judged not to contain any listed species or critical habitat; the proposed project was designed away from the site’s most critical natural resources.
