Project entailed a surface water quality evaluation of the 2,200 acre Carvel Property completed as part of the environmental review process associated with the proposed development of the site. Specifically, the focus of the evaluation was to assess the water quality of lake Carvel, Ham Brook, and a number of representative streams of the property. The methods used in this water quality evaluation were conducted in accordance with the NY State Water Quality Regulations (Title 6 NYCRR, Parts 700-706). Data generated were compared to NYS Surface Water Quality Standards, where applicable. Biological field sampling procedures were performed in accordance with the USEPA guidance documents.
