The service area of the Meadowcroft Mitigation Bank extends across parts of three Water Resources Inventory Areas (54 Colville, 55 Lower Spokane River and 56 Little Spokane River) where seasonal slope wetlands are found on naturally non-forested sites containing sediment substrate.

The Meadowcroft wetland bank is approximately 20.23 acre in size, of which 12.31 acres are included in the bank. Approximately 6.57 acres were excluded for a residence, driveway, and parking area. The completed bank comprises 12.41 acres of Category III, depressional wetlands with herbaceous and emergent vegetation and 1.35 acres of upland buffer. Wetland construction has been completed in phases, of which 8.31 acres will be available for wetland banking activities.
