Clean Water Act
Water quality regulations are driven by the federal Clean Water Act (CWA) and state regulations implementing this act. WEC staff includes a Professional Wetland Scientists and certified wetland delineators who can perform all aspects of regulatory compliance services.
Our staff and partners are experienced in guiding our clients through the Clean Water Act permitting process. We are actively involved in on-going projects entailing Section 401 permitting and are performing mitigation monitoring for over a dozen projects within Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Additionally, we are involved in water quality monitoring work to evaluate Section 303(d) issues for a number projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and New York State..
